Robert Layman USN

Robert "Bob" Layman, son of Mr. & Mrs. W. A. Layman of Reynolds Siding, joined the Navy, August 1941, two months after graduating from Victory High School. He was shot and killed by a German sniper while guarding a naval warehouse in Munich, Germany on October 31, 1946. He is buried in the Arlington National Cemetery.
