Seaman Nathan Goff Crites, son of the late Floyd and Susie Drain Crites.
Foster son of Charles and Myrtle Drain of Shinnston.
He served in the United States Navy from September 30, 1942 to October 30, 1945 with
assignments in: Charleston, WV; Solomons, MD; Portsmouth, Va; Orange, TX;
USS LCI (L) 192; Lido Beach, NY; Norfolk, Va; Melville, RI; Boston, Mass;
Curtis Bay,MD; USS LCI #84, Gela, Sicily, Oran, Algeria, Salerno,
Italy; Anzio, Italy and USS Wallcut.
After the war he was a machinist for Koppers Co. in Maryland.
He had no children and he died 5 Nov 1986.
He was married three times 1. Louise Thorpe 2.
Eva Sinsel and 3. Yvonne Updike.
