Carl Ray Loy Sr., son of Worthy Ray and Leona May Patterson Loy was born on March 16, 1924. He first married Ruth Evelyn Henshaw who passed away on March 11, 1988 and in 1995 he married Linda Fittro. Carl served with the United States Army and was attached to the squadron of the Enola Gay.
After the war Carl returned to Clarksburg, West Virginia where he worked for the Fourco/Roland Glass Company for 42 years. He resided in the Broadway section of Clarksburg until his death on May 16, 2002. Carl had six chidren, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Carl was buried with full Military Honors.
