Kulbaen & Chandani  pt2

Today is Volnes, day 28 of the month Fashanos in the year 5100 of the Modern Era.

As Doria takes the armbands from the altar and places them in the cauldron to be sanctified, she addresses the crowd, her eyes passing from one to another, resting on you for a moment before returning her attention to the cauldron.

Kulbaen removes an ancient matrimonial armband from in a small blackened iron cauldron.

Doria recites:

"The band of matrimony has always meant
unending devotion and eternal love in mant cultures."

Chandani tilts the mortar, spilling the glittering powder into her palm. She walks around the cauldron at a measured pace, sprinkling the shimmering dust into the veil iron cauldron.

Doria recites:

"In our different clans,
we have many designs, with many meanings...
the band of matrimony being
the strongest bond between two."

Nul gazes fondly at Doria.

Doria recites:

"Go with the blessing of the clans and the elders
into this union."

Chandani put a simple pestle and mortar on a carved wood altar.

Chandani removes an ancient matrimonial armband from in a small blackened iron cauldron.

Steadily, the throbbing beat of the drums increases in volume and speed.

The frantic beat of the drums resounds in your ears, a feeling of frenzied energy brought with the sound.

Kulbaen smiles proudly as he stands tall glancing out across those gathered. He then turns facing Chandani directly as his chest fills, his voice booms out in proclamation...

Kulbaen recites:

"I, Kull'Bae'en, Bleeder of Souls, Shaman of Giantkin
Take into my heart and soul,
The lovely Lady Chan'Da'Nee D'Volee,
Painstealer of Mankin
To bless me as my wife,
Knowing in my heart that you will be
My constant friend,
My faithful partner in life and beyond,
And my one true love."

Kulbaen smiles in comfort as Chandani wraps her arms about his waist, his arms enveloping her instictively. He leans back as if to get a better look at her, their gaze unbreakable.

With his vow, a blue light springs up around Kulbaen, surrounding him in a colorful, shifting sheath of light.

Kulbaen recites:

"On this momentous day, I give to you...
In the presence of the elder spirits,
All those in attendance,
And that which flows about us
My solemn oath to stay by your side
as your faithful and only soulmate
Protecting you from adversity and bale,
Filling you with bliss and happiness...
As that has always been my only desire."

Kulbaen recites:

"My further promise is to love you without reservation,
Honor and respect you,
Provide for your needs as best I can,
Protect you from harm,
Comfort you in times of distress,
Grow with you in mind and spirit,"

Kulbaen clasps Chandani's hand tenderly.

Kulbaen smiles warmly as he stares deep into Chandani's eyes. Drawing her hands close to his chest, he leans toward her as if trying to speak into her. Her eyes glisten like two wells brimmed with love, as a subtle sigh is harbored by both while he continues.

Chandani gazes fondly at Kulbaen.

Kulbaen recites:

"To always be open and honest with you,
And cherish you in all things,
here and beyond,
All of these, As I have before
But all of these, So much more"

As Kulbaen completes his vow, the light about him shimmers and grows brighter.

Chandani recites:

"I, Chandani Divali, Daughter of Moonlight
Taker of Pains, Do take on this auspicious night
Below the moon and the four guardians
The Brave and True Kulbaen SoulBleed,
High Shaman of Giantkin"

Chandani recites:

"To honor me as my husband,
Trusting in my soul that you will be
My constant friend and protector,
My faithful partner in life and beyond,
And my one true love."

Chandani recites:

"And at this time I pledge to you
In the presence of the spirits
of water, earth, air and fire
I will be forever at your side,"

Chandani smiles warmly at Kulbaen, her eyes bright and shining with adoration.

Kulbaen is admiring Chandani.

Chandani recites:

"My solemn oath to stay by your side
as your devoted soulmate
Comforting you in times of grief and strife,
Filling you with bliss and happiness...
Always by your side, an ever loving friend and wife."

Chandani recites:

"My further promise is to love you
without reservation,"

Chandani gazes fondly at Kulbaen.

Chandani recites:

"As all things begin with a seed,
So did our love, and how it has grown.
Now is the spring
and only the first blossom has shown."

Chandani recites:

"I vow this my love, to always be open
and honest with you,
To cherish you and all that you believe in.
All of this is twice as true today
than it was yesterday,
But not half what it will be tomorrow.
Forever my love, eternally yours, beyond boundaries."

As Chandani finishes her vow, a gentle silvery aura surrounds her, coruscating light accompanying her movements.

As Kulbaen clasps Chandani's hands, their eyes meet over their crossed wrists as the vivid colors surrounding them begin to eddy and swirl together at their meeting point.

Kulbaen offers Chandani an ancient matrimonial armband.

Chandani offers Kulbaen an ancient matrimonial armband.

Taraveena steps forward and firmly binds the bride and groom's wrists with hand fasting cord.

Kulbaen accepts Chandani's matrimonial armband.

Chandani accepts Kulbaen's matrimonial armband.

Kulbaen smiles through misted eyes.

Chandani bites her lip.

Taraveena steps back to resume her position beside the altar.

Ryshan smiles softly

Chandani gestures and utters a phrase of magic.

Chandani makes several mystical passes with her hand, focusing on the broom as she chants to herself in a strangely lyrical pattern.

The broom shudders and rises off the ground, hovering a few feet in the air.

Kulbaen pulls Chandani into his strong embrace, cradling her in his arms and turns to face the hovering broom. He takes two quick steps and hurdles the barrier with ease, landing on sure feet and setting Chandani down gently.

Chandani beams happily at Kulbaen!

As Kulbaen leaps over the broom the air above the pentagram seemed to turn opaque for an instant, only to fade to normal light again. Rhythmic chanting can be heard, summoned into the glade on the wind.

Chandani just kissed Kulbaen.

Ryshan says, "Two minds, one soul. One love fer a lifetime. Dis be da beginnin'. No en' shall e'er come."

Kulbaen just kissed Chandani.

As Kulbaen and Chandani's lips meet the lights surrounding them waver and begin to blend together in harmony as a union of silver gilded blue moves to cover them as one.

A deep, mesmerizing beat reverberates through the woods, the pronounced bass making bones vibrate in response. Oddly pitched chanting accompanies the beat, the unfamiliar words and wailing ululations sending strange sensations coursing through the wilds.

Chandani sighs adoringly.

Ravenscar steps forward to the couple as they part, and unties the cord binding them, murmuring softly as he passes the cord over the large wooden stump. He then spins and offers Kulbaen the cord.

Giantphang smiles happily, buzzing softly.

Kiera follows the blue light, a strange pulse flickering at her throat to each thump of the tribal drums.

Kulbaen draws a dagger and cuts the cord in two, handing one of the pieces to Chandani.

Ryshan exclaims, "Walk in joy, ye two!"

Kulbaen and Chandani face each other, holding each other's eyes in a deep gaze, smiling all the while they each tie their piece of cord around the waist of the other.

Ravenscar turns to the crowd and proudly introduces the new couple.

Ravenscar exclaims, "It is me pleasure to give you Kulbaen and Chandani!"

The guests each throw a handful of petals up into the air, and they float down in a cloud around Chandani & Kulbaen!

Jypsie says, "Enchanting Wedding, Very Lovely!"

Frozenstar exclaims, "Lets all get sloppy Drunk!"

Kulbaen and Chandani beam happily at the crowd and ask them all to stay seated to listen to the wonderful voice of the lovely Naamit and to stay after for feasting and dancing.

Naamit says, "I had something else prepared, but in a fit of nervousness, I took to the wine..."

Kulbaen exclaims, "Thank you all!"

Naamit touches one finger to her lips.

Naamit says, "Watching all this, I couldn't bring myself to sing the old song.."

Kulbaen says, "May we now direct our attention to Naamit"

Naamit says, "So here is what comes of a Naamit drunk with wine."

Naamit sings:

"How did it come to be
A human woman so very free
     Giving herself to this man
Who is akin to the giant clan?"

Naamit says, "I know not! However..."

Naamit points at Chandani.

Naamit glances at Kulbaen.

Naamit chuckles.

Chandani gazes in awe at Naamit.

Naamit sings:

    "Now comes the impetuous line
     For between dusk
     And between day
     Are acts most certainly divine"

Naamit grins.

Chandani blushes a nice shade of off-pink.

Naamit sings:

"Under stars and under the moon
     Clothing lay very bestrewn
Across the field and across the way
All to be collected before the day."

Chandani blinks.

Jipzy grins.

Myshel grins.

Naamit sings:

    "Continuing on through that night...
       He touches here,
           "Ahh!"
       He rubs there,
           "Ohh!"
     All to befit
     His woman's delight."

Enchandri's jaw drops.

Chandani gazes in wonder at her surroundings.

Laughter erupts from the guests.

Naamit sings:

    "You might think
     This union is one-sided
     Keep in mind
How this man is ever prided"

Naamit sings:

    "To have such a woman
     Filled with care
     To take the wounds
     Of those who would dare"

Naamit sings:

    "Beat themselves black and blue
Just to fill purses in lieu
     Of the danger that insues
Yet on they go without a clue."

Naamit shakes her head.

Naamit touches one finger to her lips.

Naamit sings:

    "Now what does this woman
     So ever devout
     See in this man
     A sorcerer, no doubt?"

Naamit sings:

    "Odd to his profession
     'Cause he's filled with joke
     Always ready to help
     Even the youngest bloke"

Kulbaen begins chuckling at Naamit.

Naamit sings:

    "Surely there is more
     To this man
     Who is so akin
     To the giantish clan?"

Vaaliant asks, "wonder if she meant blow up the yungest bloke?"

Naamit shrugs.

Naamit winks at Vaaliant.

Naamit sings:

    "One can't forget
     That little touch
     Mentioned afore,
     His sensuous clutch."

Naamit winks at Kulbaen.

Naamit sings:

    "Certainly a man
     For he will profess
     His feelings for her
     Under public duress!"

Naamit exclaims, "If only we were all so lucky!"

Naamit looks over at Chandani and shakes her head.

Naamit says, "You lucky woman..."

Naamit winks at Chandani.

Naamit sings:

    "These two folk
     Caught up in marital bond
     So very fitting
     For each is fond"

Chandani smiles proudly.

Naamit sings:

    "Of the other
     Who is right and just.
     Always knowing
     The other they can trust."

Naamit says, "Enough of my half-drunken bantering! I've made these two sound rather naughty in my past verses, haven't I..."

Naamit smiles quietly to herself.

Ravenscar raises his Eldreth death-rum in a toast!

Naamit chuckles.

The guests laugh heartily.

Frozenstar nods to Naamit.

Jipzy nods to Naamit.

Fremie begins chuckling at Naamit.

Larktrill cackles!

Shiloa begins chuckling at Naamit.

Kulbaen snickers.

Naamit sings:

    "One might think
     This union is tainted
     With fluids spilled
     In places sainted"

Kulbaen wrings his hands.

Naamit sings:

"Well, I can assure you now
As is good my torturous grip
     Never has that woman
Been touched by the honeymoon dip!"

Naamit nods.

Naamit exclaims, "May the moon's light grace these two with its unnerving essence this night and every one from here on out!"

Naamit pulls Chandani and Kulbaen towards her!

Naamit kisses each of them on the forehead with approval.

Chandani grins.

Lanson chuckles.

Ryshan cackles!

Goldbadz applauds.

Kulbaen throws his head back and howls!

Ryshan beams happily at Naamit!

Naamit says, "As if it matters now that the ceremony is done, but you have my blessing and I'm sure things will work well for the both you."

Myshel giggles.

Naamit just kissed Chandani on the cheek.

Naamit just kissed Kulbaen on the cheek.

Naamit says, "Now my bantering is truely done"

Naamit grins.

Vaaliant says, "Naamit remind me to have ya sing fer me if I ever decide to get married"

The guests applaud and praise Naamit for her song..

Kulbaen smiles with utmost appreciation as he smothers Naamit in a huge giantman hug!

Ryshan exclaims, "Wunnerful, Naamit!"

Myshel says, "aye verra entertainin"

Naamit says, "I believe this is a one-time occassion, Vaaliant."

Naamit grins.

Kulbaen exclaims, "Lets get our BOOZE on!"

With that, the guests head to the reception area for food, drink and merriment.
