What is Backroom Access?

Almost every shop owner in every town that you can ORDER items from has a backroom where they keep special merchandise for their best customers.

Not every backroom has items for sale at this time.

|How can you get Backroom Access?

You get Backroom Access by befriending the shop owners. How? You do it by buying 50 items from them at retail price without any haggling.
When you visit the shop owner, ORDER and buy the cheapest item the merchant sells. For each visit, you can buy 5 items. After that, the merchant will give you the package. Just repeat the process until the owner gives you Backroom Access.
If you do haggle on more expensive items, offer slightly higher price than the last offer to impress the merchant. For example, assume the merchant originally asked for 300 coins, and you managed to haggle until his last offer was 220. If you offer 225, the merchant will think you are giving him a great deal.

How do you use Backroom Access?

Once you become the shop owner's preferred customer, you'll get an option to buy things from the Backroom. Just choose that option and you'll see what is available. Now, you can type "b" from the main catalog to enter.

Does it speed things up by buying more expensive items? Rumors has it that you don't have to buy 50 items if you buy more expensive items from the shop owners. I'm not sure if it's right, but with the extra cost, I don't think it's economical even if it's true.

What can you do with all that trash?

I used to just drop them and let the janitor clean them up, and packages were automatically "thrown away" (disappeared). Another option is to take them and put each item in the trash bin and get some experience for it.
