HOUSE COMMANDS (Phoenix, Paupers, Aspis etc) -

  • BORROW {#} - House treasurer may borrow funds from Cooperative into the general funds account from the clerk.

  • DEPOSIT {<#>|NOTE} - Deposit # in the house general funds account with the clerk

  • ENDOW {<#>|NOTE} - Add # to the house endowment with the clerk

  • EXPEL <Member> - Performed by the House Chairman to formally expel a member of a house

  • INITIATE <Person> - Performed by the House Chairman to formally grant someone house membership

  • INQUIRE - Inquire about house finances with the clerk

  • INVEST <Person> AS <Officer> - Invest someone as a house officer

  • PREPAY <#> - House treasurer may prepay # off the remaining outstanding loan balance

  • WITHDRAW <#> {SILVER|NOTE} - House treasurer may withdraw # from the general account.


VERBS IN THE HOMES:

HOME:

  HOME CLAIM claims a home in your current room.
  HOME CHANGE changes the way your room is described.
  HOME GUEST <player> sets ONE guest who may enter the home at any time.
  HOME GUEST CLEAR clears your guest.
  HOME SCENT changes the scent of your home.
   HOME PRIVACY <FAMILIAR | LOCATE> turns privacy options on or off.
  HOME SAVE saves your room description, scent, privacy options and guest.
  HOME TRANSFER transfers ownership to the character typing the command.
  You must stand in the   room of your home entrance to use this command.
  HOME DEED creates a deed for your home, which can be sold or moved.

OTHER VERBS TO USE IN YOUR HOME

FALLING

  • FALL (from standing on <bed>) - You fall down on the bed!

  • FALL (from standing on <table>) - You fall off the table!

  • FALL (from standing on <floor>) - You fall over!

SITTING

  • SIT BED/RUG/TABLE:   You sit down on the bed/rug/table.

  • SIT FLOOR:   You sit down on the floor.

  • SIT  <from sitting position on the table> - Shift your legs to sit on the table

  • SIT (from laying position on <bed>) - Sit up on the <bed>

  • SIT (from standing on BED) You shift your legs to sit on the bed.

  • KNEEL BED:  You kneel down on the bed.

JUMPING

  • JUMP BED: You leap atop the bed!

  • JUMP BED (already on bed) - Jump up and down on the <bed

  • JUMP TABLE: (if yer on bed) You leap from the bed to the table!

  • JUMP RUG: (if yer on table) You leap from the table to the rug! (you get the idea)

  • JUMP WALL: Crouch and stare at a wall

LEANING

  • LEAN WALL: You walk over to the wall and lean against it.

  • LEAN <BED, WALL, TABLE, DOOR>: (from sitting position) You scoot over to the table and lean against it.

  • LEAN TABLE, DOOR,etc > You walk over to the <object>and lean against it.

  • LEAN <BED, WALL, TABLE, DOOR>: (already LEANing against a household object ) You scratch your back against the <object>.

  • LEAN <BED, WALL, TABLE, DOOR> (from kneeling position) - You walk on your knees to the bed and lean against it.

  • LEAN DOOR: You walk over to the door and lean against it.

LIE DOWN

  • LIE <BED> - You lie down on the bed.

  • LIE BED/RUG/TABLE:  You lie down on the bed/rug/table.

  • LIE BED (if you are already on the bed)  - You roll over on the bed.


THE DOOR/WINDOW/ENTRANCE

  • LOCK <PERSON> <HOME> or LOCK <DESCRIPTION OF HOME> You lock the door to a cedar cabin.

  • LOCK <PERSON> <HOME> or LOCK <DESCRIPTION OF HOME> (when door is already locked)  You rattle the handle of the door. It's locked.

  • LOCK <DOOR> (while inside HOME) You lock the door.

  • UNLOCK <DOOR> (while in home) You unlock the door.

  • UNLOCK <PERSON> <HOME> or UNLOCK <DESCRIPTION OF HOME> You unlock the door to a cedar cabin.

  • OPEN <PERSON> <HOME> OPEN <DESCRIPTION OF HOME> You open the door to a cedar cabin.

  • OPEN <DOOR> - You open the door.

  • LOOK IN <PERSON> <HOME> or LOOK IN <DESCRIPTION OF HOME> This cabin belongs to Jypsie.

  • PEER <PERSON> <HOME> or PEER <DESCRIPTION OF HOME>  (when window is closed) You peer in the window, but see nothing. It's too dark inside.
  • PEER <PERSON> <HOME> or PEER <DESCRIPTION OF HOME>  (when window is open) You see <description of the  home interior>
  • PEER WINDOW:  (window open) You peer out the window, and see  <description of the area as well as anyone who may be outside your home.> 
  • GO WINDOW:  (only if your sylvan and with both hands free) You wiggle through the window and land on the ground with a *thud*. (you will end up laying down)
  • GO (PERSON's HOME):  Go Cedar cabin...You walk through the door of Jypsie's cabin.
  • GO DOOR: (this is when you are inside the home)You walk through the door.
  • CLOSE DOOR: (when inside)You close the door.
  • CLOSE (PERSON's HOME): Close cedar cabin...You close the door to Jypsie's cabin.
  • KNOCK (person's home) - You knock on <person's> <home's> door. When you are inside the home you will hear:   A sharp rapping sound comes from the door!

STANDING

  • STAND: (when sitting against the wall) You push yourself off the wall and onto your feet.

  • STAND: (when standing against wall/bed/table) You move away from the bed/wall/table.

  • STAND: (after you fall on bed) You push yourself off the bed and onto your feet.

  • STAND (from lying position) - Roll off the <bed> and onto your feet

  • STAND <BED, RUG, TABLE) - You step onto the <bed, rug, table>

  • STAND: (if you are sitting on bed/table) You climb off the the bed/table.

  • STAND: (if you are leaning against <bed, wall, table, door>) Push yourself away from the object and onto your feet

  • STAND (while kneeling on BED) You get off the bed.

  • STAND <BED or RUG or TABLE> (while sitting on the BED or RUG or TABLE) You stand up on the bed/rug/table.

  • STAND <BED or TABLE> (while already standing on BED or TABLE) You step off the bed/table.

SWOONING

  • SWOON: (when sittin on bed) You fall down on the bed!

  • SWOON: (when leaning against wall sitting) You fall off the wall!

  • SWOON: (when stittin on table) You fall off the table!

  • SWOON: (when leaning against door) You fall off the door!
     

TABLE

  • TILT TABLE - Lift one end of the table, causing everything upon it to slide precariously to the other side!

  • PUSH TABLE  - Push yourself back from the wooden table and pat your belly

FIREPLACE:  

  • CLEAN <HEATSOURCE> Pick up a piece of broken pottery and a bundle of dried grasses from beside a <heatsource>, and use them to clean the ashes and coals from its bottom into.

  • STOCK <HEATSOURCE> (first time) You start a stockpile of fuel next to the small fireplace with a chunk of dry firewood.

  • STOCK <HEATSOURCE> (subsequent times) You add a chunk of dry firewood to the small fireplace's stockpile of fuel.

  • STOKE <HEATSOURCE> Using a jagged, broken longsword from beside the small fireplace, you pull aside the remaining wood and stir up the coals at its bottom. This causes a slight brightening of the coals, the flames to leap higher and a wave of heat to billow out into the room.

  • STACK <HEATSOURCE> You stack some of the stockpiled fuel from beside the small fireplace into its bottom.

  • LIGHT <HEATSOURCE> (after you have stocked and stacked wood)  Using a tinderbox from beside the small fireplace, you light the fuel on its bottom.

  • LIGHT <HEATSOURCE> (when firewood is not stacked yet) You pick up a tinderbox from beside the small fireplace, then realize there is nothing to light, so put it back down.

  • LOOK IN <HEATSOURCE> (after fire burned out and has been cleaned) Looking in the small fireplace, you see that it is unlit and less than half filled with unburned fuel. No ash obstructs the proper ventilation of burning materials.

  • LOOK IN <HEATSOURCE> (after fire burned out and yet to been cleaned) Looking in the small fireplace, you see that it is unlit and less than half filled with unburned fuel. Minimal amounts of ash obstructs the proper ventilation of burning materials.

  • LOOK IN <HEATSOURCE> (after the fire has been burning awhile) Looking in the small fireplace, you see that it is burning and less than half filled with unburned fuel. Minimal amounts of ash obstructs the proper ventilation of burning materials.

  • LOOK IN <HEATSOURCE> (after you cleaning it and starting a fire) Looking in the small fireplace, you see that it is burning and less than half filled with unburned fuel. No ash obstructs the proper ventilation of burning materials.
