Hello there. Mr. Wendell here. Bringing you another random post and hoping to entertain, enlightened, and educate (E3? Nah.) Okay, here we go:
Pokemon 3 came out, and I still need to see it. Both in US and original Japanese. I never even had the chance to watch it before it came out for US distribution. Guess that's a sign that Pokemon is on the out now. Well, I guess it had a good run. I still think it's a good children's series, despite the thoughts of our good friend tony912's beliefs in PETA (People for the Evil Torture of pikAchu).
I can hold my liquor, but Soju whooped my butt. The right honorable Maestro4710 and his wife introduced me to this drink and it kicked my butt. Boy, was that stuff strong. Southern Comfort didn't have this effect on me, neither did the Patron that I had before. But Soju...WHOO! Goodness gracious. I'll have to see if I can handle it the next time I try it.
The Cherry Blossom Festival Anime Costume Parade is coming, and I am excited. I hope that the weather will be good this year. I expect a lot of good costumes this year. Lately the cosplayers have really improved and I hope for a great time next week. How will I judge? What will I look for? You'll find out.
HOWEVER, THE KODAMA PLUSHIE IS MINE!!!! I will go BPA on you if you take them all and I don't have any for myself! Fie upon thee if you do!
I miss our good man and co-host, zetasquare, who's still in the Philippines. Have a safe trip home, and hope to see you during the CBF! I hope the jetlag won't be hurting you.
I checked out a few episodes of the Big O on the Cartoon Network. The explanation from the commercial says exactly what it is. Bruce Wayne, James Bond, and giant mech. Can't get any better than that.
Perhaps our right honorable Agent 760 can change that message on the top of our EZboard. Ani-Magic is still far away, and we need to look forward to CBF, as well as our upcoming cons we're hoping to hit over the summer and fall.
Depeche Mode is coming out with a new album. At first I didn't really like them when they first came out in the early 80s, but now I can't get enough. I will have to see them in concert when they come to Concord in August. I am 0wn3d by DM.
